brad bolton > My ghoti. This was my favorite stuffed animal in the 1970's. The term ghoti is an alternative spelling for the word fish. Take the "gh" from tough, the "o" from women, and the "ti' from nutritious, and what do you get? Ghoti !
brad bolton > Greg Janick, 74th Army Band. Sporting a mouthpiece cover nosepiece, and a hairstyle of the future.
brad bolton > My house on Hickory Hill, 1971.
brad bolton > Jeff Kressler, in the 74th Army Band, Indianapolis.
brad bolton > Jim Edmonstone, roommate and calming soul at Ohio Wesleyan, 1971.
brad bolton > Joe Vrecenak. When I was introduced to him in college , I heard his name as "Joe Burningsack", and told him so. His name was "Sack" at OWU thereafter. I met his sister years later, and she told me that his nickname was still "Sack".
brad bolton > Playing with the George Foley trio, 1989, Brandywine's, Cleveland Heights. Ken Englehardt on sax, and Bud Pickard on fiddle. Bud swung hard, and Ken always came up with interesting lines.

brad bolton > Mark Holm and me in the Army. I broke my leg in a dirt bike accident in the army when Mark and I met head-on in a midair collision - my leg was almost amputated. Mark did not sustain an injury - he's just goofing here.
